For yesterday’s update of the official site, they set their DeLorean to winter 1990 for the tenth issue of Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine. News articles include the opening of Star Tours and the announcement of the prequel trilogy!

‘The Force to Return in the ’90s!’, ‘A Look at the Impact of Video on Lucasfilm’, ‘Star Tours: A Grand Opening’ and much more were the highlights of the Lucasfilm Magazine, which was available to fans nationwide! On 1 January 1990, Adam Schultz wrote following:

“Orlando, Florida, is called the Number One Vacation Destination in the country, and much of the credit goes to Walt Disney World. Millions of visitors have thrilled to the sights of The Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Center, but it’s the new Disney/MGM Studios Theme Park which holds the most interest to fans of Lucasfilm. On January 13th of this year, Disney celebrated the Grand Opening of the third Star Tours attraction.”
