Season of the Force: Seek and Find
Locate coded cylinders hidden throughout Black Spire Outpost to uncover a code word and receive a themed keepsake.

Update: We’re now providing images to all of the canisters and the answer!

Calling all recruits! New to this year’s Season of the Force at Disneyland is a “seek and find” game that takes place in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Tomorrowland. It’s free for all participants and can be a fun side-quest to do. How does it work? We’ll show you how and where, without spoiling it exactly…

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Rebel Alliance set up a makeshift way-stop on Batuu. To avoid detection, they devised a code system using letters inscribed on old supply cylinders, which were hidden among junk piles, scrapyards and other locations. The letters formed a word which was given to a trusted contact.

Today, the Resistance continues to use these coded cylinders to test the skills of new recruits. Do you have what it takes to join the Resistance?

How it works:

  1. Your journey begins at The Star Trader shop in Tomorrowland. The cast member at the sales counter on the very left (opposite Star Tours) will provide you with your map to begin your mission.

2. Travel to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and seek out 6 coded cylinders hidden throughout Black Spire Outpost. Using the map, take note of the symbols inscribed on each cylinder. Some are tougher to spot than others! We will provide you with ONE hint… none of the cylinders are indoors.

3. Journey back to Tomorrowland, locate all of the decoder signs and use the symbols to decipher the letters. (Here’s just one of those signs located near the Star Tours entrance)

4. Decrypt your mission’s code word using the decoded letters.

5. Report back to The Star Trader and present your completed map and code word to receive a special keepsake that commemorates your mission. It’s an Aurebesh decoder card featuring Chewbacca! The second card released was C-3PO, then R2-D2, and finally the Millennium Falcon.
